The Africa Café Range is tableware originally designed by Clementina van der Walt, now being produced at the Africa Café Ceramics Studio by her former assistants.
The Africa Café tableware range is manufactured industrially and then hand decorated in overglaze colours to form vibrant brightly coloured patterns. Each individual item is different, but all relate and may be matched to create a multitude of interchangeable place settings. A full dinner service range is available. The ware is foodsafe and dishwasher proof (guaranteed for 1300 cycles).
There are two types of surface decoration:
Pattern
Pattern – Bands of colour with a lot of white background
Bright
Bright – mainly solid bands of colour with less white
